A Club Car Dinner

The Club Car is one of my favorite restaurant to
dine at in Westchester.  Brian MacMenamin and his
wife Fatima own the restored 19th century restaurant that
was once the Mamaroneck train station depot.  It still has
the original tin ceiling, stain-glass windows and fireplace.
I met my "family" here for dinner a couple of weekends
ago since the kids were in town.  I think it's one of the
best times ive had with them.  Plus Greg kept drinking
from my wine glass, haha. ahhh I just miss that kid.

Valley Road Pond

When I was working full time for the Feliu's every winter
the kids in the neighborhood would wait for the
pond to freeze so they could have their pick-up
hockey games.  we were the house that served
continuous hot-chocolate and fed all of Greg's friends.
All the boys are now in college and growing up so fast.
It was nice to see them all back on the ice again.
When i came by to take a few photos Greg even talked me into
getting on the ice.  That didn't last very long.

Surviving a NY winter.

Good Morning Everyone, It's a bombing 22 degrees out on this
Wednesday.  I actually love NYC winters, brutal as they sometimes are,
there's something about being in NY during any season.  It's been almost 4 months since
I've posted, which usually means im staying busy, always a blessing as I see it.
My sister and brother have had babies and they already have the cutest personality's.
Kristy and Daniel's little goober Grady has become quite the crawler.  He started on
Christmas Day.  I had a really lovely holiday and New Years.  Hung out with friends
here and there, ate....of course and tried to be as social as possible.  I rang in the New Year
by falling asleep by 10:30 PM...unless im going out to an earlier dinner with great friends
I see it as amateur night.  Not worth the hassle at all. However my buddy Steven and I made
up for it on New Years day, didnt make it  home until 4 AM.
It only took me 3 days to recover from that one.
Im so very grateful for my health and friends, family and faith.  The Support system
i discovered in all of them was astonishing and humbling.
I have never been so happy to see a year go as I was with 2014.  It was a year of me being quite
nonsensical, however, because of that i grew up, a lot.  Not speaking exactly about maturing into
a proper adult, more on the lines of not being gullible or so naive.
I can finally see the light at the end of my tunnel.
It truly is beautiful.
Happy New Year.
